📌 MARC’S HONESTY NOTE ON THE FIRST EDITION vs. SECOND EDITION
The original First Edition captured the early days of the studio shelf and my thinking that the readers had a higher technical ability than I should have assumed—back when our freestanding
svc #0 shell only had its original 8 built-ins, long before the 88-binary userland, 32.5 MB DDR4 RAM-boot architecture, RAMGAK binary-search calibration, and the RP2350 Mayor node ever existed. Rather than selling you the First Edition under descriptions of new systems it doesn’t contain, we recalled the First Edition in favor of this complete
86-Page Second Edition.
Because I personally know everyone who purchased the First Edition, every original buyer receives a signed Author’s Copy of the Second Edition in the mail along with a thank-you card for your early support.
